Frequently Asked Questions
when is the application deadline?
wasatch academy has a rolling admission policy.
how soon will i know if i am accepted?
once a student has completed:
an online application,
three letters of recommendation,
a student campus visit,
and an in-person admissions interview
the admissions committee will meet and discuss the application. once a decision is made, we will send a letter to your residence. if that letter contains an acceptance notice, it will also include an enrollment contract for the student to sign online. students struggling to conduct an on-campus visit and interview should contact our admissions department for further direction on how to proceed with the application.
what about visa applications for international students?
once you are accepted, sign the enrollment contract, and pay the $10,000 usd deposit, an i-20 that will be sent to your home. use this to apply for an f1 student visa.
do you require ssat, toefl, or any other testing as a part of the application?
the ssat/toefl scores are not necessary components of the application. a student’s academic capacity, how well they fit at wasatch, letters of recommendation, and the interview process determine whether a student is admitted.
